We always use quality batteries here at E.K.S. Before replacing the battery in the key we will check its operation. After replacing the battery we will once again check its operation. It may be that there is a fault with the remote and it might need recoding or replacing.Checking your transponder is reacting correctly to interrogation.Is the remote emitting the correct frequency requesting the vehicle to open? Are all the micro switches on the remote operating correclty? Before carrying out a repair, changing a battery or even supplying a new remote key we will always check your existing keys operation.
